About Us:

Since 1967, Aerocon Photogrammetric Services has been providing clients nationwide with aerial photography and digital mapping products. We have long-standing relationships with members of both the public and private sectors who rely on us because of our high standards and firm commitment to customer service.
The firm was incorporated with the mission of becoming one of the premier providers of advanced photogrammetric services. We achieved this goal by paying attention to technical quality, hand-picking personnel with high academic and professional credentials, and investing heavily in new technology.
In April 2003, Aerocon acquired the assets and business operations of Abrams Aerial Survey Corporation of Lansing, Michigan. Abrams Aerial Survey, Inc. operates as a subsidiary of Aerocon Photogrammetric Services, Inc.
The environment and office layout at our sites encourages collaboration and interaction on all the work we do. Aerocon’s 10,000 square foot headquarters facility in Willoughby, Ohio, has a full service photo lab and spacious production/demonstration, stereo digital collection, film scanning, digital orthophoto production, graphic editing/QC, administrative and conference areas. In addition, we have a technical support/project management office in Indianapolis, Indiana.
In Sunfield, Michigan, our 4,500-square-foot production facility mirrors our headquarters operations with a new film processing/contact printing photo lab, digital mapping, film scanning, digital orthophoto, graphic editing/QC, office and conference areas.
Without dedicated and intensely trained personnel, the best technology will not be good enough. The most important part of Aerocon is our staff of 35 dedicated professionals and technicians. They include ASPRS-certified photogrammetrists, surveyors, geographers, computer analysts, FAA-certified pilots/mechanics, aerial photographers and technicians, with an average experience level of more than 20 years.
Today’s mapping industry is constantly changing with the introduction of new applications and procedures. Aerocon staff keep abreast of current technology with seminars, conferences, and in-house training seminars in topics ranging from aerial photography to GIS uses and standards to advanced computer applications. |
